Bedford County Amateur Radio Society (BCARS)
is an amateur radio club based in Shelbyville, TN.
Our repeater KI4NJJ is located near Shelbyville.
The repeater is on frequency 147.060, (+0.6 offset) tone 127.3.

Weekly check in nets are held at 7:30PM on Mondays,
We decided to incorporate a 2nd repeater into the mix of weekly nets.
The 443.350 (+5 offset) 127.3 tone will now be used as a 2nd repeater,
and will be the secondary repeater if something were to happen with .060.
Nets will be as follows:
- 1st Monday will remain on .060 with Kimberly Clay (KQ4CFK) being Net control
- 2nd Monday will remain simplex on 147.585 with Bill Tucker (WB4CMA) being Net control
- 3rd Monday will be on 443.350 (+5 offset) 127.3 tone with Jarrd Jones (KK4BBG) being a temporary fill in Net Control
- 4th Monday will be back on .060. with Robert Couch (N4USG) being Net control
- 5th Monday will be also be on .060. Norm Cochrane (KC4EGA)
Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm at the
Disabled American Veterans building (DAV) in Shelbyville.
